I know I'm late to the party but I fell in love with this palette the moment I laid my hands on it! It was on my wishlist since it came out and I really needed some colourful shimmer shades so it was the perfect purchase.  The packaging is amazing. It's for sure the prettiest palette I own. Made out of plastic it is quite sturdy and you get a little UD bag that goes with it, you can later use it as a makeup bag! I love that it has a huge mirror so you don't need any when you do your makeup using the Vice 4.  I had a problem with the eyeshadow pans falling out so I had to glue them back in. Since I've stopped being a lipstick hoarder I've learned to choose wisely but sometimes I just buy a few similar colours from different brands. Recently I discovered a dupe for one of my favourite MAC shades. Golden Rose is the cheapest alternative to MAC an they too have a wide colour palette of matte shades. PACKAGING : MAC lipsticks come in a black, plastic bullet with silver details. The Golden Rose ones come in a dark red plastic packaging with golden and black details. I like the MAC one more because it's minimal and I hate the colour gold. TEXTURE : The darker MAC shades are harder to apply and they don't glide easily over your lips but they are way more matte than the GR shades. Tho, the lighter shades are perfectly creamy and easy to apply. Even though they're matte, the GR lipsticks come off really shiny on the lips.
